Life is a process in exploring and embracing God's blessed gift to a person and lives it out at one's own conscious of good and free will in expressing his/her unique love to the others by which glorifying God, the greatest of all in ONE. ~ by bonnie chan
生命就是一個過程。各人活在其中去探索並擁抱神賜給各人祝福的禮物, 並且在生活當中,用各式其式的自主好意去表示各人對他人獨特的愛意,來讚美最偉大而合一的神。~bonnie chan
Made Alive in Christ
Ephesians 2:1-3
Most people in this world do not know they are deceived or how they became deceived. Satan and his demons have not sat us all down to tell us, "We are here to deceive you." We know only because God's Word reveals this truth to us, and we believe it. Despite this happening in our lives, deception can still be communicated to us unless we are astute enough to take care that it does not happen again.
I was atonished to know the power of the Truth. The world is changing in a speed that we lose the core value to distinguishing what is right and wrong. I am glad that the bible of Truth keeps me still to identifying who I am and where I am.
Ephesians 2: 8-10 : For it is by grace you have saved, through faith - and this not from yourselve, this is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good work, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Amen!

Justine in Hongkong
Justine arrived in Hongkong last night. I hope you can get her plugged in with the teen ministry in HK. She just came back from Seattle camp, fired up and spiritual. She shared last Sunday what she learned and what inspired her to want to study the bible.
Roxana, I told her that she can arrange to have quiet time with you and she said okay.
Bonnie, I hope that she can spend some time with Michelle.
Take care and will see you in August.

How to pray for myself
After I came back from the Manila conference, I have got a flu and also got my back twisted badly. One night, it took me one hour to get out of the bed. Any kind of pain will help me to be more grateful of what I have right now.
Tonight, I was asked to share 10 minutes in the mom’s night house church. The topic is about “How to pray for myself?”.
Here is the content of my sharing , would love to share with you :
Who is your prayer hero?
My prayer heroes are:
The first hero is Hannah 1 Samuel 1 and 2
Hannah was so bitter about herself of not being able to have child. V.15 She poured out her soul to the Lord. V. 18 After she prayed , she went her way and her face was no longer downcast. She promised God that she will give her son to God. After the baby was born, she waited for 3 years to fulfill her commitment to God. For sure , during these few years she struggled a lot. However she chose to surrender and praise God with an amazing prayer (chapter 2) .V1 My heart rejoices in the Lord for I delight in your deliverance.
The second hero is Mary Luke 1:29-55
Mary was greatly troubled at the angel’s words telling her that she will give birth to a son. However she answered, “I am the Lord’s servant, may it be to me as you have said.”
The third hero is Jesus Matt 26:39-42 Die on the cross
Jesus’ soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death . However he still said “ If it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done”.
What I have learnt from these heroes about prayer is that prayer is about walking with God but not about asking for things:
- through prayer we communicate or pour out our heart to God
- through prayer we hand our struggles, weakness……to God
- through prayer we surrender ourselves before God and choose God’s way instead of ours .
My son Michael is our brother, recently he stops going to church. He does not have any spiritual peers walking with him. I feel troubled . I don’t know what I should do. I remember these 3 heroes and try to imitate their hearts. Just as Joshua 3:5 said” Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
Purify my heart? i.e. want to use my own way, want to be in control, upset with him, impatient with him……..
Surrender ? give it to God and trust that he is in control.
God gives the peace after I am willing to learn from these heroes, Amen!

Latest updates
Justine went to Seattle camp this morning. She'll be back on July 14 and will be in Hongkong on July 18.
Celia is recovering from her surgery. The doctor thinks it's benign but still need to be confirmed by lab test.
Same thing with Cynthia, she's also recovering well from her heart surgery.
My family arrived on Thursday. My sister, her husband and her son is going to start a new life here in Canada. My father, 84 years old is visiting with them. My cousin, Gina, I'm trying to hire her as caregiver so she can stay here with us (please pray for her) and my niece is visiting from LA, hopefully she can overcome her grief and feel the comfort of being with family here in Canada.
I'm off this week to help my family settle here. Drive them around to find furnitures and stuffs....
God is great and he answers prayers. I'm so grateful that I finally have part of my family in Canada. We'll never know what God is in store for us but definitely it will be something to encourage our heart and our faith.
I love you God and thanks for all your blessings!
